Quality time with the big girl

Me and Sydaleigh had a rare moment today where we had some alone time while Marvelly took an extended nap.
Sydaleigh doesn't get a lot of alone, one on one time, with just me so I decided to let her help me with some baking, a favorite past time of hers.
She was in heaven.
We laughed, she helped, I taught, she followed directions, we both wore our aprons, and even though it was for only thirty minutes...she needed it.
She needed just some good old mommy time- where she didn't have to share me, yell to be heard, act out to get attention...
it was just us...
I need to remember to do that more...
with both girls.
