Come on in...

Oh, what a night...

5:30pm- sirens start sounding just 5 minutes after coming in the house from playing outside.
That came out of no where!
We quickly take cover under the stairs, then decide to run next door to our friends basement.
Storm passes, back to life.
8:30pm- just lay Marvelly down to sleep, go into Sydaleigh's room to try and convince her that the thunder she hears in the distance isn't scary, "it's just the sky making a noise."
Apparently not.
Sirens go off again.
Drat.
Grab the girls and run back to Tera's house for round two of scary tornado ridden storms.
Of course, the weather has taken over every channel on TV.
Of course, the Red Wings are playing game 6 in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Of course, it's on NBC.
Of course they win.
Of course I don't get to see it.
Figures figures figures.
I'm soooo over this whole tornado season thing.
I'm ready to get back to normal, not scary run for your life, regular weather.
Oh, and due to all the house hopping last night Sydaleigh is officially freaked out, thinking that every time she hears thunder or sees rain we have to run for cover.
And, of course, there is more on the way for this evening.
Nice.
