"God is magical"

"God can walk on water....He is magical."

My girls think God has magic. There is nothing I can tell them to make them think any differently. And in all fairness.....I don't really feel the need to correct them.

Because in their very innocent six year old and four year old eyes....He does. Any man that can walk on water and come back to life after dying on the cross and create the entire universe.....has the absolute best magic imaginable in their eyes.

If you ask them, they will tell you that God has magic because He is powerful. Because He can do anything. Create anything. He is God. Nothing is bigger or better than Him. There is none like Him. And if they use "magic" to describe his power.....then I'm just gonna go on lettin' them.

They will say, "God has the best magic!"

And truly....they are right. It is so very simple to them. So very uncomplicated.

God has magic. The best magic. Because He is the most powerful.

It is that simple to them. Magic has yet to take on a sinister role. They are still very much immune in their young age to the realities of evil. I know the day is coming....likely very soon, when hurt, and pain, and evil will confront them. But I do not fear that day. I do not resist that day. Because they already know something that most people have not discovered yet.....

God is real. He is good. He is the most powerful. And He's got the best dang "magic" out there.
