Marvelly's 7!!

My Marvelly on her seventh birthday! And just as precious as can be. And missing her bottom two teeth!
A long while back Marvelly said that she wanted a pumpkin cheesecake for her birthday cake this year. Because she's cool like that. But, there was no cream cheese to be found as the stores have been absent of that for quite some time, but it is strawberry season so I made her a strawberry cake instead. Which she loved equally as much.
My Marvi-girl blowing out her candles.
The only thing that she wanted for her birthday (besides a pumpkin cheesecake) was the Frozen Lego set. She was SO happy to open that gift! Loved seeing her "oh my gosh!" face when she ripped the paper off!
For her party with her friends she wanted a "How To Train Your Dragon" themed party. I love how unconventional my daughters are! Not a typical "girl" party, but I love that my girls break stereotypes about what can be liked by girls and boys. Girls can like dragons and swords too, and my Marvelly does!
So, in true How To Train Your Dragon fashion, I made cardboard shields for the kids to decorate with stickers and jewels, and Isaak made viking hats, swords, and axes out of balloons! They turned out SO great! And he had a blast making them.
The kids loved them too and had so much fun playing in the back yard.
We had a "dragon" egg hunt around the yard, and then the kids had a turn whacking the dragon pinata. All in all, it was a fantastic party and everyone had a great time.
For her cake, Marvelly just wanted her Toothless toy on top with her Marvelly look-a-like doll sitting on top, ready to take off into the skies. =)

She had a blast celebrating with all the girls in her class, and we had a great time celebrating Marvelly. This girl is an absolute joy. So funny. And quirky. And cute. A delight to everyone who knows her. So proud and honored I get to call this little lady my daughter. Happy 7th birthday Boo-boos.
