Slice of life

A view from my car while driving.....this is a "bush taxi".

It's like a regular taxi, but instead of a car it's usually a nine seater van. People usually take these to drive longer distances, as opposed to just around town, so they are always crammed to the brim and beyond the brim with all kinds of stuff....bikes, motos, luggage, livestock, people. While driving one time we counted 17 people stuffed inside one of these taxis. And when there is absolutely no more room to squeeze another human being, they ride on the back of the van, or on top.

A little slice of life from Burkina.

How about sheep in the back of a little car?

Sheep in the back of the car is very common and quite easy. Try the Sheep, goat, pig and four or five chickens on one moto with a passenger as well. When you have accomplished that act, you have arrived. I am always impressed when I see that.
