Oh Sydaleigh.....

"Mom, there's only brown people in here." Sydaleigh said at the Anacostia Social Security office this morning.

"Uh huh." I reply.

"Mom, look at all the brown people," she says again, louder this time, as if she's never seen a person with colored skin before.

"Yeah, I see. There's going to be lots of brown people when we move to Africa too."-I say.

"WE'RE MOVING TO AFRICA?!?!"
